Photography is a hobby that started when I was 13 and has since fallen a bit into the background. I was an aspiring music teacher until I decided that I don't like kids. I am studying radio broadcast and production and I hope to studying live sound design in the future. I write, I speak, I produce, I live.

Here's the deal:
-School came and went, the majority of my semester was spent in excruciating pain or being sick.
-Had two classes from hell, both happened to be on Wednesday.
-Due to being sick/unable to properly walk, photography went on hiatus.
-Still kind of is.
-I am knitting a lot now that school is out.
-Knitting trumps photos. But expect photos of projects as I finish them, they're still art.
-I want to start spinning my own yarn. And dyeing. Mmm, fiber arts.
-I have developed a huge crush on Gene Kelly. Tap dancing, singing, fantastic looks...mmm.
-I need a new ID photo. I should work on that.

Winter Break, Thus Far.

Soooo winter break did not go as planned.
Long story short: I fell down the stairs at the beginning of break when I was at Mom's...and I ended up really screwing up my back (like, worse than normal) and inflaming another disc, landed myself in the ER, and had to drop my J-term class because I was in DeKalb for a month rather than 2 weeks. Sucky.
As far as grades went, I got 4 A's and 1 B. I have yet to figure out how that B happened, but it's whatever. For the second semester in a row, I have a 3.73 GPA and missed Dean's by .02. Such is life.
I also got my laptop back at the beginning of break and it decided to crash and not turn on AGAIN

I have one more week of school left this semester. I still have to finish one paper (just intro/conclusion, nothing bad) and write another for my Producer class and then finish putting together my final projection for Production and then I'm done! Yay!
It'll be back to DeKalb for Christmas (just 2 weeks, I can't handle much more than that) and then I'll be working and taking a J-term class in January. Factor in that I'm paying rent, and those are good excuses for me to NOT spend 6 weeks in DeKalb...living there with no car really sucks, especially when your house is in a cornfield (despite popular belief, this is not every house there, eit

I started photography in the summer of 2003, so I've been photographing for 5 1/2 years. As far as fiber arts go (knitting), I've been knitting for about 10 months now.
2) How many contests of photo or art did you take place in?
In high school 3 of my black and white 35mm pieces were featured in a district-wide art show, one received judge's honors. One of my digital photos was in an online contest.
3) How many your own photo ( or art) works were published in magazines, journals or newspapers maybe?
One of my photos (Juxtaposition) has been printed in a book.
4) How many photo-site or art-site are you registered in?
I am registered here at dA, on flickr, and ravelry.com (strictly for fiber art).
